Guest Services Agent — Front Desk
Dual-brand hotel located in Alexandria, VA
Full-time all shifts including nights & weekends
You'll be the face of our dual-brand hotel operation — managing every stage of the guest journey from check-in to check-out.
This position plays a direct role in our guest satisfaction scores (GSS/OSAT) and the smooth day-to-day flow of both properties.

What you'll do:
- Welcome guests warmly and complete efficient check-in and check-out processes
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly; perform service recovery when needed
- Input, modify, and manage reservations in the PMS accurately — rate codes, room types, special requests
- Process payments, balance cash drawer, and complete shift audit responsibilities
- Ensure folios are accurate; handle direct billing and third-party reservation billing correctly
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management on room status, arrivals, and departures
- Log guest requests and issues; ensure clean shift handoff through logs and reports
- Support lobby upkeep and breakfast
- Follow all safety, security, and brand standards procedures
What we're looking for:
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with hotel PMS systems and standard computer use
- Reliable attendance; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Calm and composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods; occasional light lifting up to 40 lbs
